An internal mall environment with 15 – 20 retail units,  anchored by a grocery anchor.  Tenant mix is a mix of services, health, food & beverage, fashion, gifts with a dedicated shopping centre car park.  The centre usually serves as a main retail destination for the catchment area and therefore works within the community as a focal point for retail activity.

External larger retail units with a product range focused towards home, sporting, lifestyle, electronics.  Generally planning policy will limit the retailers to those in the bulky goods categories, however, some units have achieved planning permission permitting non bulky tenants (such as fashion) and food to trade alongside.
