Sigma Retail Partners are delighted to announce EV charging at Gateway Shopping Park Naas Retail Park
We have introduced EV charging at Gateway Shopping Park beside the B&Q store and have them at the Starbucks store in Naas Retail Park. We are working with a number of different suppliers in delivering these at the other locations with further roll out due in 2024.
One of the main barriers has been the delivery of civils with many substations placed at the back of properties but the charging points needed at the front. Our aim is to deliver the best customer solution for each property. The highest speed chargers are a significant capital cost and require significant electrical capacity.
We are delighted to have been working with EV companies on different delivery models that will allow for us to deliver best-in-class chargers. With close to one million Electric Vehicles targeted by the government to be on Irish roads by 2030, the supporting infrastructure will be key to customer usage.
Innovation in tackling delivery obstacles will be paramount in tackling climate change and we are delighted to have met companies proposing such solutions and look forward to developing more of such partnerships in the upcoming months.
